Getting to the Navajo Rug cabin is part of the adventure! You travel from Hwy 259 down cress road. We recommend bringing a vehicle like a pickup or an SUV that has at least 7" clearance, definitely not low to the ground. Pet Policy: Guests may bring up to 2 dogs <50 lbs with prior approval. A flat pet fee of $100 applies. If more than 2 dogs are brought without authorization, an additional $300 fee per extra pet will be charged and may result in cancellation without refund. NO CATS, bringing a cat is a $300 fine, and the guest will be charged and may result in cancellation without refund Accessibility: The cabin is a double-level home with stairs. Outdoor Cameras: For the safety of our guests and the security of the property, exterior security cameras are installed. Each camera is directed at entry points (such as the back door) to monitor for unauthorized access and to help safeguard your belongings. No cameras are directed toward or monitor the hot tub or other private relaxation areas. Please do not tamper with the position of the cameras. Hot Tub Usage: The hot tub is available all year and open 24 hours for your enjoyment. Maintain water levels above the highest jets. Water levels below the jets will cause the expensive water pump to burn out resulting in charges to the guest for the damages. Please adhere to safety guidelines posted on-site. Local Wildlife: Being nestled in the foothills, occasional wildlife sightings are normal. Please respect the natural environment and keep a safe distance from any animals. Do Not feed any wild animals. Noise Ordinance: Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM. Please be mindful of the noise levels to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests. Maximum occupancy = 10 guests, including daytime visitors. Exceeding this limit will result in a $200 fine per guest and may lead to cancellation without refund. House Rules

All guests staying at the cabin must be listed. You must be > 21 yrs old to book this cabin. Maximum guests = 10. There will be a $200 fine per person exceeding the limit. There is a 50 lb limit for each dog. $300 fine per dog if the weight limit or maximum quantity is exceeded. Limit 2 dogs. $100 pet fee. NO CATS. There will be a $300 fee assessed if a cat is brought into the home. *Hot Tub: There are special rules posted on the wall by the hot tub. Please review these rules with these additional guidelines... *Maintain the water level above the highest jets to prevent the pump from burning out. This type of damage can be very costly to the guest. *Make sure occupants are clean before usage. It is a spa, not a bathtub. Excessive dirt clogs up the filter again, resulting in potential guest charges for misuse. * Children using the hot tub must be supervised by an adult at all times. NO swimming or diving!

The romantic master bedroom and spacious bathroom. Outdoor spaces, including the private patio, hot tub, and outdoor kitchen. Guests may access the entire property with the exception of the locked owner's closets. Caution: The cabin has a septic system and an underground propane gas tank. Propane gas tank is located in the left side of the cabin and septic system is located in the left front side of the cabin. For your safety, please avoid this area, as damage or tampering could be dangerous, resulting in injury to one or more guests.

Outstanding cabin! Will definitely stay here again. Host was phenomenal. They brought us salt and pepper shortly after check in because they were afraid they forgot to leave some. Most would not do something so simple but we appreciated the due diligence and proactive behavior!

I want to start off first by saying Ted is a super host for a reason. He was able to address an issue we had within a very fair amount of time and came to the property himself. The cabin is absolutely stunning. I don’t think there was a time any of our six children were bored. I would suggest if you get into the creek take a right and explore as far as you can go. There is a couple drop off fishing holes that our children caught very large bass in. And also if you have a ATV BRING IT. You can leave the cabin and explore for miles and miles and miles on dirt roads going up and out of mountains. We’ve seen probably 16 deer so many bunnies I couldn’t even count. It was hands-down the best vacation we’ve ever had and we’ve been on several.

This house was perfect for a relaxing, private, peaceful vacation. The kids enjoyed exploring the woods and nearby creek. The adults enjoyed movies from the porch bed. The two primary suites made it perfect for two families, with the kids upstairs in the game room.

Ted and his son were very helpful and kind. They were quick to handle any issues that came up and allowed us to have a late check out due to illness brought on the night before. We will definitely be coming back.

I really have so much to say about how much we loved Navajo Rug, but they only give me 1,000 words. First, secluded! Exactly what we were looking for. There was another property about 100 yards from the cabin but you would never know it. Our kids played in the little creek behind the house, but watch out for poison ivy and Virginia creeper! Every second we were at the cabin, my daughter was on the swing bed outside. Such a nice amenity. The design of the whole cabin from decor to color scheme was beautiful. Pictures really don’t do justice until you’re in the home. It was also very, very clean. Baseboards, windows, the hot tub. No dust anywhere. A lot of pride has gone into this property and it shows. We had a hard time choosing a place to stay until we saw Navajo Rug, cannot beat the price with all the extras. The outdoor play area was so cute. Very well put together and it’s all private. Not shared with any other properties. Which is so nice! Navajo Rug is a MUST stay again!
